Sports Dance Competition

The Ragtime Sports Studio started its activities at the Petrozavod State University in 1995.

The first classes took place in the foyer of the activist chamber in the main body, but there were so many students who had vals in the nearest passages.

From 1999 to 2013, the studio was actively developed at the Karel State Pedagogical University (later the Academy). Following the consolidation of the universities, the classes continued at Petrozavod State University.

One of the notable events that have already taken place twice (in 2014 and 2015) at the Petrozavod State University stage is a test number competition based on a bald dance among child and youth couples. The dancers of pre-school and school age are pleased with their creativity of all present viewers, and the winners are chosen not by professionals, but by amateur juries formed from among the best representatives of Petrozavodska, etc., and by Petrgu.
